Easter Sunday Chances
While it certainly isn’t a classic “day-before-the-day” setup, there’s just enough things coming together to make tomorrow around sunset worth keeping an eye on. In looking at the models this afternoon, it appears there will be a number of transitions happening with various parameters in the general vicinity of Hesston to McPherson. Multiple models show that transition zone at about the same place. It’s close enough we’re not out a whole lot if it busts. If it verifies, the primary issue will be hail, the way it looks to me. Matt & I haven’t firmly decided we’re going, but I’d give it a 50-50 shot right now. We’ll probably make the call before church in the morning.
There has been a lot of anticipation about Monday (and maybe Tuesday) storm chances, but the models paint a high-risk of a bust right now – but an exciting evening if it verifies. Because what happens (or doesn’t) tomorrow will play into everything to do with Monday, I won’t go into it any further right now.
Off now to get the van re-packed…had to pull about half the equipment out today and resolve a couple of issues that arose yesterday. As a friend of mine said yesterday, if all is copacetic, we’re good. (It is, and we are.)
